Mind Bytes (2014, 2015, 2017, and 2018)
The annual Mind Bytes symposium showcases research done using RCC resources and invites the public in to learn about key issues related to high-performance computing.
Students from Chicago Public Schools spend half a day learning about how computation enables groundbreaking research in neuroscience, thanks to a partnership with the High-Performance Electrical Neuro-Imaging Laboratory.
Digital Archeology Day (2018)
Students from Chicago Public Schools spend half a day learning about how the field of archeology is becoming more digital, thanks to a partnership with the Oriental Institute.
VSCSE (2013, 2014)
RCC hosted the University of Chicago location for the Virtual School of Computational Science and Engineering (VSCSE) seminar, a multi-institution summer school dedicated to teaching attendees the skills they need to make better use of cutting edge computational resources.
