In addition to our hardware and software offerings, the Research Computing Center (RCC) provides advanced support to researchers. This goes beyond basic support and often includes the development of new codes, scripts, analyses, workflows, and visualizations from computational scientists that have significant experience performing computational research. Our online User Guide offers extensive tutorials for RCC users and information about running jobs, transferring files, and making the most of the Midway compute environment. RCC technical support staff are available five days a week to answer questions over the phone, via e-mail, and in person. Additionally, our extensive Workshop and Training series offers members of the University of Chicago community the opportunity to learn HPC-related skills to take full advantage of RCC resources.
