Every year the Research Computing Center hosts more than twenty events in the data visualization lab at the Kathleen A. Zar Room as well as other spaces on the UChicago campus, including the Walk-In Lab in Regenstein 216.

Recurring events include the RCC's workshop series for UChicago faculty, students, and staff on a variety of computing topics. We also host special vendor workshops.  On August 3, 2017, the RCC hosted an Intel-Colfax workshop on "High-Performance Computing and Data Analytics". The RCC recently hosted its annual Brain Awareness Day, on March 13th, 2018. The RCC invited over fifty local students to attend this interactive and exciting event. In April 2018, the RCC hosted a Visualization Hackathon. It was attended by over 40 participants who worked on visualization based topics. In May 2018, the RCC will be hosting a Deep Learning hackathon and its annual symposium and expo, Mind Bytes. Use the left-hand navigation to read about past events.
