Visualization Hackathon

We are excited to announce our first Visualization Hackathon to be held at John Crerar Library, Zar Room, on Saturday April 22, 2017, from 10 am to 8 pm.

If you like data visualization, virtual reality systems, interactive tables, and haptic devices, this event is for you!

We will develop applications for HTC Vive headset, Google cardboards, Google Daydream View, Multi-touch Virtual Reality Workbench (workbench that combines a multi-touch table with a head-tracked stereoscopic display wall), Geomagic Touch Haptic Device, and Kinect for Windows. We will also use Visible Body 3D Atlas thanks to The University of Chicago Library.

You will have the possibility to present your application during Mind Bytes Symposium, in the Technical Demos sessions

Space is limited.

Further details will be provided after the registration.

Bring your laptop, smartphone, VR system (if you have one), and your creativity.
