Computing has become a key component in almost every field of research, and grants and fellowships now frequently require applicants to provide a computational and data management plan.

The RCC can assist principal investigators at various stages of grant preparation by providing information about guaranteed computing and storage resources; writing the computational sections of proposals; pricing hardware and software; and responding to miscellaneous needs as they arise. During this process, RCC often serves as a catalyst for connecting researchers with technology experts and other faculty. RCC may be able to support your grant application with:

  • a letter of commitment guaranteeing the availability of hosting facilities, computer hardware, storage, system administration, and computational scientist time
  • customized content for your data management plan that considers your research project needs and RCC services
  • agreements on set prices and dates for the acquisition and management of research computing hardware

By submitting this form you agree to the RCC User Policy.
