Interactive Data visualization with D3.js and React
Interactive data visualization is an essential tool for making complex information accessible and actionable. It allows us to transform raw data into meaningful insights that drive decisions and understanding.
This hands-on workshop, focuses on leveraging the strengths of both D3.js and React and D3.js to create dynamic visualizations. React’s component-based architecture and state management provide a flexible framework for building interactive and scalable interfaces.
D3.js complements React by offering tools for data manipulation and visualization, including transitions, animations, and custom chart designs. By combining these technologies, participants will learn to create responsive and efficient visualizations using real-world datasets. In this workshop, we will explore how to uncover hidden patterns in datasets and gain deeper insights into our data.
Objectives:
Understand how to integrate React and D3.js to build interactive and responsive data visualizations.
Learn techniques for creating dynamic charts, graphs, and visualizations using real-world datasets.
Apply best practices for managing state, adding interactivity, and handling transitions in visualizations.
Level: Intermediate
Duration: 2 hours
Prerequisites: Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS are recommended. Participants are encouraged to bring a laptop for the hands-on portion of the workshop.
